Eligibility: This course is only open to South Gloucestershire schools selected for a KS2 local authority moderation visit and is designed for Year 6 teachers and SLT.

This course provides an overview of the moderation process, preparation guidance, and an opportunity to meet your moderator ahead of the June visit.

Eligibility: This course is open to Y6 teachers from any junior or primary school.

Support accurate end-of-key-stage writing judgements with confidence. This practical session brings year 6 teachers together to explore nationally benchmarked examples, take part in modelled moderation, and strengthen assessment of writing through professional dialogue with peers and moderators.

Mediated Learning Support Asistant/Approach - MeLSA (INT450)

Eligibility: This course is open to teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants, SENCos and teachers from any infant, junior, primary and secondary school in South Gloucestershire and close surrounding areas.

MeLSA provides training to individuals (called MeLSAs) that work directly with children and young people, to assist them to become a more skilled and independent learner.
