Eligibility: This course is open to Maths Subject Leaders from any primary school
We are aware that there are so many things going on in schools that it often means as a maths leader that you don’t have time to keep fully up to date with what is happening in the world of mathematics.
This year we are changing our subject leader sessions to a mix of online and F2F. Each session will include national and local updates as well as sharing new resources, there will also be a theme for each session that will support you as a maths leader as well as a monitoring focus.
Session 1 – Online
Theme: Getting the most out of your SOW and other curriculum links
Monitoring focus: Data, action plans and priorities
Session 2 - F2F
Theme: Keeping all children on track in maths - Intervention, boosters and use of TAs
Monitoring focus: Work scrutiny and pupil voice
Session 3 – Online
Theme: Keeping up with your children and championing maths - working with parents and running pupil events
Monitoring focus: Moderation and assessment
