Eligibility: This course is open to science subject leaders from any infant, junior or primary school
We are aware that there are so many things going on in schools that it often means that, as a science leader, you don’t have time to keep fully up to date with what is happening in the world of science.
This year we are changing our subject leader sessions to be a mix of national and local updates, sharing new resources, a school improvement self-evaluation and monitoring element, over three twilight sessions.
Session 1 Theme: :Reviewing your Science curriculum
Monitoring focus: Action plans and priorities.
Session 2 Theme: Being a science champion, running effective CPD
Monitoring focus: Work scrutiny and pupil voice
Session 3 Theme: Working with parents, making the most of technology
