
Childminders SEND Network
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire SEND trained Childminders.
This virtual 1.5 hour network is open to South Gloucestershire Childminders who have previously completed the SEND Childminder course.

Autism Anxiety Trust: Making Sense of Autism
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years practitioners working in Reception classes, Nurseries, Pre-Schools or as Childminders.
This two session virtual course by Autism Education Trust provides delegates with an introduction to autism. It is most appropriate for colleagues working in early years with little or no past experience of autism.

Autism Education Trust: Good Autism Practice
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire educational professionals working in the Early Years, which includes Childminders, Pre-Schools, Nurseries and School Reception Classes.
This three session virtual course is an in-depth training around identification and support focusing on the four areas of need. A basic knowledge of autism is needed and it is suggested that delegates will have already completed Autism Education Trust: Making Sense of Autism.

Autism Education Trust: Anxiety Module
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire education professionals working in the Early Years, which includes Childminders, Pre-Schools, Nurseries and School Reception Classes.
This in-person AET module will help delegates to think about the reasonable adjustments that can be made to support young autistic children in their setting, with the aim of creating long lasting impactful change to the early years environment.

SEND Surgery 5 (Implementing a Whole Team Approach)
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years SENDCOs and Managers.
This in-person 1.5 hour session is one of six surgeries covering different themes that delegates can choose based on their professional development needs. there will also be an opportunity to network with other settings.

SEND Surgery 4 (Working in Partnership with Parents)
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years SENDCOs and Managers.
This in-person 1.5 hour session is one of six surgeries covering different themes that delegates can choose based on their professional development needs. There will also be an opportunity to network with other settings.

SEND Surgery 3 (Outcomes & Targets)
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years SENDCOs and Managers.
This in-person 1.5 hour session is one of six surgeries covering different topics that delegates can choose depending on their professional development needs. There will also be an opportunity to network with other settings.

Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years SENDCOs and Managers.
This in-person 1.5 hour session is one of six surgeries covering different themes that delegates can choose based on their professional development needs. There will also be an opportunity to network with other settings.

SEND Surgery 1
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years SENDCOs and Managers.
This in-person 1.5 hour session for SENDCOs and managers is an opportunity to discuss focused SEND topics and network with other settings.

Childminders SEND Network
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire SEND trained Childminders.
This virtual 1.5 hour network is open to South Gloucestershire Childminders who have previously completed the SEND Childminder course. It will be an opportunity to network with other childminders to continue your professional development in supporting and including all children through professional discussions and collaboration.

Autism Education Trust: Transition Module
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire professionals working in the Early Years, which includes Childminders, pre-schools, nurseries and school reception staff.
This in-person session aims to provide delegates with the knowledge, skills and understanding to plan transitions and implement processes to improve the education and well-being of children in the Early Years.

Autism Education Trust: Play Module
Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire education professionals working in the Early Years, which includes Childminders, pre-schools, nurseries and school reception classes.
This in-person Autism Education Trust module is intended for early years delegates who have had some previous training or have experience of working with autistic children and who want to deepen their understanding of autistic play.
