    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire SEND trained Childminders

    This network will support you by collaborating to continue to learn from each other, whilst reflecting on topics previously discussed during Childminder SEND training to deepen knowledge of the importance of early identification and intervention.  The network will provide an opportunity to engage in professional discussions about SEND practice and to share how previous training has been embedded into your practice.  Continue to reflect on key priorities identified using the inclusive practice audit tool, to identify and plan further priorities.  To gain further knowledge on updates on SEND information and services.  To share practical ideas and approaches to include and support all children, through sharing and celebrating inclusive approaches and practice.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will:

    • Understand the importance of early identification and intervention.
    • Be up to date with new information and services.
    • Gain more practical ideas to support in the four broad areas of need - to develop practice to support and include all children in your provision.
    • To able to provide support for parents - signposting and referrals.
