• Course overview



    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years Settings and Childminders.

    This virtual session will share up to date local and national SEND information.  The Early Years South Gloucestershire offer, including Dingley's Promise and the changes to Educational Psychology support will be explained.  Early Years Inclusion Support Funding (EYISF) and Transition Support Funding (TSF) information and processes will also be clarified. 

    Funding will be provided for up to 2 delegates from each setting, and for every childminder to attend.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this briefing you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

    • Knowledge of the local offer and how to access this.
    • Understanding of the local context in Early Years and SEND.
    • Awareness of the Dingley's Promise pilot partnership.
    • Understanding of the changes to Educational Psychology support in the Early Years.
