    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years SENDCOs and Managers

    This in-person 1.5 hour SEND surgery is intended to equip delegates with the confidence to create achievable outcomes, as well as writing SMART targets for children with SEND.  This will then help to ensure children are accessing the best support for their developmental stage.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will:

    • Develop confidence within the SENDCO role, further supporting your confidence to support children with SEND.
    • Be able to identify and create achievable outcomes for children.
    • Develop your confidence in writing SMART targets for children, further strengthening your paperwork.
    • Feel confident in supporting the wider staff team in deciding outcomes for children.
