This e-module introduces reasonable adjustments, explaining their purpose, applicability, and examples of good practice at the council. It also covers the importance of aligning with the social model of disability and the council's ambition for disability equality.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Induction
This one-day course is for council managers. It covers the council’s recruitment guide and process from beginning to end. You will consider criteria for posts, advertising options, how to identify appropriate selection processes, shortlisting and preparing for interviews.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Induction e-module
This e-module explains the processes, legislation, and good practice around the recruitment and induction of staff. All council managers are required to complete this and the one-day training course before they recruit.

The Management Programme
This 5.5 day course for first line or middle managers covers the knowledge and skills needed as a manager. It is delivered through face to face and online training, psychometric assessment, 360 review, individual reflection, skills practice, and e-learning.
