    Eligibility: This e-module is for South Gloucestershire Council staff only.

    This online course, for all new managers to the council, will introduce you to the culture and practices expected of council managers, signpost you to key policies and information and provide points of contact and support. This course gives you an overview of the main expectations of managers and people management responsibilities within the council. We also cover some management basics, if you are an experienced manager this might provide you with a refresher and reminder of what you already know and are comfortable with. There is a lot of information in this course. It will take around one hour to complete, however we recommend putting aside 90 minutes so you can take a break and spend more time reading the key policies if you haven't had a chance to do this yet.
