    Eligibility: This course is open to managers from any organisation.

    Elevate your management skills and career potential with our comprehensive Management Programme, designed to provide in-depth training and practical experience for current first line and middle managers. This programme will give you a solid grounding or refresher in public sector management. Topics include personal development as a manager, developing individuals and teams, managing employee performance, leadership and communication, and managing services where we cover managing change, resources and stakeholder relationships.

    You will experience:

    • Comprehensive learning: essential topics with interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-world applications.
    • Supportive environment: a cohort of peers, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning atmosphere.
    • Personal growth: benefit from tools like the MBTI psychometric profile and the Belbin team roles inventory to enhance your self-awareness.
    • Continuous improvement: take advantage of optional 360-degree reviews to receive constructive feedback and support your development.

    The six-month programme begins with an induction, so you fully understand what is involved and the commitment. Five full days of training which will either be in person or online so you can decide what is better for you, and ten hours of self-directed study, allowing you to explore topics at your own pace.
