    Course overview

    Eligibility: This course is open to maths subject leaders from any infant, junior, primary or special school.

    These one-to-one, bespoke half hour online surgeries will support you as a maths leader or maths team to have a reflective conversation with the maths advisor. Each session is tailored to your school needs to ensure that you are able as a leader(s) to identify the right priorities for the new academic year and consider what evidence you will need to collect to show the impact. 

    It might be that you are new to the role and don’t know where to start and would value some advice to help you plan and prioritise or need new ideas and support with planning a staff meeting or other CPD support for your staff.

    Whether you need support with analysing your end of year school data, reviewing what evidence you need to show impact, review your action plan, deciding what CPD you need to run next year, planning a CPD event, are new to maths leadership or just want to chat maths!

    If you want longer than half an hour then please book 2 consecutive surgeries.

    Up to 3 people can attend one surgery from the same school - please book in one name and include the names of any other attendees in the Training Requirements box.

     

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

    • To be able to reflect on your school maths priorities
    • Be able to identify the evidence you need to show impact from this academic year
    • Create an effective action plan for the next year
    • Support colleagues in moving the subject forwards by identifying any CPD needs

     

    Charges

    The charge for this course or event is: £20 per school booking (max 3 delegates per booking) - please book in one name and include the names of any other attendees in the Training Requirements box.

    If this course has a cost for your school and a booking is made, we will charge via school statements or invoicing in the usual way. However, once GovPay goes live on the site in the next few months you will be asked to pay upon sign up, using a credit or debit card.
