Eligibility: This course is open to anyone who uses Makaton at home or at work (not limited to early years)
This one day, face to face session will include; discussing commonly asked questions, hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use, and how to use Makaton in everyday situations at home or work.
Participants will learn signs and symbols for stages 3 and 4 of the Core Vocabulary and the rest of the additional vocabulary.
You will receive a Participant's Manual which includes the Makaton symbols and line drawings of the signs that you learn in the workshop.
You will also be given a certificate of attendance. Please remember to keep your Level 2 training certificate in case you want to attend further Makaton training.
This is a full day Level 2 Workshop. Participants must complete Level 1 before they can attend Level 2. In addition participants must be aged 16 or over and be a resident of the UK at the time of training.

If this course has a cost for your setting and a booking is made before 1st September 2026, we will contact you in early September to request payment. From 1st September 2026 you will be asked to pay via GovPay upon sign up, using a credit or debit card.
