Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire education professionals working in the Early Years, which includes childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes.
Anxiety is one of the top concerns for neurodivergent people, their families, and the professionals who work with them. By listening to the voices of those with lived experience, we were able to create a module that helps others to understand how anxiety can impact on a neurodivergent child’s daily life.
This 3.5 hour module will help delegates to think about the reasonable adjustments that can be made to support young autistic children, with the aim of creating long lasting impactful change to the Early Years environment.
On completion of the module, delegates will receive a Practical Support Pack which contains a collection of practical tools, templates, top tips, checklists and strategies to use to support autistic children.
