    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years Apprentices Only

    This fully funded Early Years Apprentice Support Network aims to provide:

    • Up-to-date Knowledge and guidance
    • Practical Support and mentorship 
    • Encouragement for practitioners to stay and grow within the sector.  

     

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this network, you will have knowledge and the skills in the following areas: 

    • Understanding why emotional development is at the heart of children's learning.
    • Developing knowledge of co-regulation and the role of the adult in supporting children to begin to recognise their emotions. 
    • Explore practical strategies to support children's emotional wellbeing within everyday routines, transitions and play.
    • Reflect on practice, understanding and the importance of responding sensitively to children's behaviour as a form of communications. 
    • Networking opportunities for apprentices within Early Years Settings. 
    • Access to ongoing support through the New to Early Years Mentor Programme.

    Charges

    This course is funded. Settings will be able to claim £60 per apprentice to release their apprentice to attend network and access New to Early Years Mentor Programme.
