    Course overview



    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years Settings and Schools

    This one hour virtual session is an opportunity to join online to watch or refresh some Makaton signs and symbols that are fee to download on the Makaton Hub and NSPCC website.  We will be looking at some key themes.  This is not a certified workshops and it will not be recorded.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will:

    • Understand that being able to communicate is one of the most important skills that we need in life.
    • Understand that Makaton is a unique communication programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate.
