Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years Settings and Schools.
This one hour virtual session is an opportunity to join online and watch or refresh some Makaton signs and symbols that are free to download on the Makaton Hub www.makaton.org. We will be looking at some key themes throughout the year. The focus of this session will be Easter, Spring and Mother's Day. Makaton Sign and Share promotes inclusive communication by encouraging people to share, develop and use Makaton signs and symbols in everyday life. Makaton is a communication programme that combines signs, symbols and speech to help people communicate.
