ELSA Conference 2026 (INT747)
Eligibility: This conference is open to any practicing ELSA within all South Gloucestershire (or close surrounding) schools.
The ELSA conference will cover a range of topics highly relevant to ELSAs' everyday work, as well as giving them an opportunity to network with colleagues. Topics will include EBSA, anxiety, ACES and adolescence. We will also have local organisations/agencies attending to support networking and help ELSAs make links with the local community.
Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) Training (INT746)
Eligibility: This course is open to teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants, SENCos and teachers from any infant, junior, primary or secondary school in South Gloucestershire and close surrounding areas.
Through their training ELSAs learn how to deliver individualised and sometimes small group programmes of support on aspects of emotional literacy including emotional awareness, self-esteem, anger management, social and friendship skills and therapeutic approaches e.g., mindfulness, Lego therapy
