    Course overview

    Eligibility: These networks are open to South Gloucestershire Early Years settings and childminders working in Cluster 2, however those working in other clusters are welcome.

    These 1.5 hour, face to face networks provide a welcoming space for early years settings to connect, share effective practice, and explore current challenges and developments at both a local and national level.

    They encourages discussion and reflection, giving practitioners the opportunity to share experiences and contribute ideas for further network and training opportunities. Emphasis is placed on celebrating what works well, sharing good practice and learning from each other.

    There will be opportunities to visit different settings, gain fresh perspectives and develop strong professional relationships. Overall, the network aims to keep practitioners informed, connected and supported as the sector continues to evolve.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

    • Develop an understanding of current local and national developments influencing early years practice.
    • Reflect on shared challenges and explore solutions through discussion with early years professionals.  
    • Share ideas to strengthen effective practice and shape future network and training opportunities.
    • Build supportive professional relationships through sharing experiences and visiting other settings

    There is a charge of £0 per delegate for this course.  South Gloucstershire delegates only

    If this course has a cost for your setting and a booking is made before 1st September 2026, we will contact you in early September to request payment.  From 1st September 2026 you will be asked to pay via GovPay upon sign up, using a credit or debit card.
