The Inclusive Mainstream Fund is additional funding for schools intended to improve the inclusivity of universal provision As this funding is ring fenced, this course will show you how to account for this in AEF.
As part of Schools Finance Bitesize training, this short 1 hour session delivered via Microsoft Teams will show schools how to account for the grant in Access Education Finance using the cost centre. The session will cover what the grant is and where to find DfE guidance and methodology, key requirements and considerations for schools when planning how to use this funding, how to maintain clear records of income and expenditure in AEF using a dedicated cost centre, how to run a report on the cost centre in AEF. You will be able to use this information as part of the required Inclusion Strategy Statement which must be published.
