Eligibility: This course is open to all Administrators, School Business Managers and Head Teachers in South Gloucestershire maintained schools
This is a two hour course delivered over Microsoft Teams.
The revised budget reflects a school’s mid-year changes in income and expenditure and compares this against the original budget submitted to the LA in the spring.
During this session we will:
Share changes for 2026/27
Discuss roles and responsibilities for preparation work
Review the revised budget checklist
Confirm deadlines
Provide guidance on financial housekeeping
Confirm the submission requirements for 2026/27
Discuss how the new School Budget Support Grant 2026, Inclusive Mainstream Fund and changes to Free Schools Meals will be captured in the revised budget
We encourage all schools to attend as there are some changes for 2026-27 financial year
As a result of this course, you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:
· How to complete the revised budget checklist
· What preparation work schools and schools finance need to undertake prior to the meeting
