    Course overview

    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Early Years Settings and Childminders.

    This webinar, ran in conjunction with The Children's Kitchen will help early years settings to understand the new nutritional guidelines which have been set.  We will explore ways to support families to make more nutritious lunchboxes and help you to consider the snacks and drinks that are offered in your setting.  We will also explore things to consider when creating a food policy.  

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course you will:

    • Understand how the new nutritional guidelines for early years settings relate to lunchboxes
    • Be able to encourage healthier food choices
    • Be equipped with ideas to support family engagement 
    • Receive tips and resources to assist you
