The Partnership Projects CPD accredited Non Violent Resistance (NVR) training course develops the core knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently use NVR to address violence, aggression, and controlling, destructive or harmful behaviour across family, school and community settings.
The course offers a comprehensive and in depth learning experience, covering both the core NVR model and integrated approaches for working with trauma and multi stressed families. It supports practitioners to build effective, compassionate responses while strengthening safety, relationships and resilience.
The NVR Certificate programme is structured in three stages.
1) Completion of the NVR Foundation Level (Level 1) involves finishing the eLearning modules alongside the final consolidation session. Participants who wish to progress further may be able to do so, following discussion with their team and service manager.
2) The second stage includes NVR Advanced Level Training (Partnership Projects Level 2a), 5 days of online learning.
3) Followed by Coursework Certification (Level 2b). Submitted within a year of the Advanced Course, 2 x case studies and a reflective log.
Successful completion of all three stages leads to an Advanced Certificate in NVR Practice (NVRA Level 2). Participants also receive confirmation of attendance for completing both the Foundation and Advanced Level training.
