• Course overview

Eligibility: This course is open to anyone working with children, adults, or families in South Gloucestershire

The South Gloucestershire Safeguarding Adults Board has commissioned this short bitesize session alongside the provider Voiceability. The bitesize session will consider the different types of advocacy available, who can refer and when you should use an advocacy service.

The Adults Board has identified learning through Safeguarding Adults Reviews and Multi-Agency audits that advocacy is not always understood and not always used when it could be.

This courses will give confidence and information to enable practitioners from all agencies to make better use of advocacy for the adults they work with.
