This half-day online workshop is designed for professionals working in the statutory, voluntary, and independent sectors. It offers a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of the diagnostic category of personality disorder, with a particular focus on borderline personality disorder, to enhance the services and support you provide, making a positive impact on people's lives. The workshop draws on personal experiences of receiving a personality disorder diagnosis and incorporates the latest evidence on effective interventions and approaches. Whether you are seeking an introduction to the issues or an update to your existing knowledge, this workshop is suitable for all. It caters to those new to the topic as well as staff who are already trained or have more experience working with individuals with a personality disorder. The workshop will feature presentations, small group work, and large group discussions, all conducted within agreed ground rules of confidentiality and mutual respect. Handouts will be provided to complement your learning experience.
