Eligibility: Professionals working with adults for an organisation in South Gloucestershire
Delegates who attend this one day train the trainer event will be able to deliver an adult safeguarding awareness session following attendance at this course. The one day event will provide tuition and practical support for delivering a pre-written safeguarding course that can be adapted for your organisation and delivered to staff.
You will need to have previously attended a Raising Safeguarding Concerns course.
The event will be in two parts, the morning session will go through the material and slide deck for the safeguarding awareness course and the afternoon session will focus on the practical activities, practice at training delivery and learning styles.
Following attendance at this course there will be the opportunity to attend regular network meetings with other trained trainers to receive updates to the material and ongoing support.

The charge for this course or event is £115.00. However, if your organisation contributes to the Safeguarding Adults Board, or you are South Gloucestershire Council social care staff you will be entitled to a fully funded place. All places may be subject to a non-attendance or late cancellation fee.
When you sign up you'll be able to book your place. For those bookings that are not fully funded, we will contact you to arrange payment until we are ready to accept online payments.
