Eligibility: This course is open to Baby Room Leaders and Managers from South Gloucestershire Early Years Settings

This interactive three-part course is designed to empower leaders and senior staff working with children aged 0-2 years with the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead high-quality practice.  Through a combination of engaging discussions, practical strategies, and reflective gap tasks, participants will explore how to create nurturing, responsive environments that support babies' early learning, development and well-being.  The course highlights the vital role of baby room leadership in shaping positive early experiences and embedding effective safeguarding.  Participants will be encouraged to reflect on current approaches, identify areas for improvement, and consider how their leadership influences team culture and everyday practice.  By the end of the course, leaders will leave with practical tools, renewed confidence, and clear strategies to inspire and support their teams in delivering consistent, high-quality care for babies.

For the time being, payment of course fees will be made in the usual way through the South Gloucestershire Council website.  Go to www.southglos.gov.uk and click on Pay, then Pay Online.  Scroll down to Other Payments.  You will then see an option to choose Early Years Training.  Select your course from the drop-down list and follow the instructions for payment.  You will receive an automated email confirming your payment.  If payment has not been made 7 days prior to the start date your place will be cancelled.
