    Course overview



    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Reception and Nursery Class teachers.

    These briefing session will provide school based EYFS staff with the latest local and national updates as well as provide information about what support you can access in school.  Each session will be tailored to reflect current developments and research, providing staff with all the information they will need to know to continue to reflect and develop on their provision and practice.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

    • EYFS statutory and non-statutory guidance, including recent updates from DfE and Ofsted.
    • South Gloucestershire Early Years Team support offer.
    • Criteria, applications and processes for Early Years Inclusion Support and Transition Support Funding for children with SEND.
    • EYFS leadership and management.
    • Supporting your staff teams.
    • Curriculum, provision and assessment.

    Charges

    There is no charge for South Gloucestershire Early Years Schools to attend this session.
