    Eligibility: This e-module is for South Gloucestershire Council staff only.

    The National Occupational Standards (NOS) ensure that officers tasked with specific roles are suitably qualified in both skills and behaviours. This e-module aims to impart knowledge on how South Gloucestershire Council manages the strategic response to major incidents. By the end of the e-module, you will have an understanding of the main legislation and reference documents available. You will learn about JESIP (Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles) and how multi-agencies collaborate to ensure shared information and integrated incident management. The module will cover the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders, the responsibilities of strategic leaders, and the two phases of leadership, including the changes in roles and responsibilities during these phases.
