    Eligibility: This course is open to South Gloucestershire Council managers only.

    Managers play a vital role in overseeing individual and team performance and development. This engaging blended course demystifies the council's personal development and performance review (PDPR) process. The workshop focuses on what managers need to know, practicing essential skills for effective and positive meetings, and understanding how to set meaningful objectives. Participants will learn how to make the PDPR process engaging and impactful for all staff.

    This course is perfect for both new managers and those looking for a refresher. It provides a valuable opportunity to ask questions, share best practices with council colleagues, and build on the PDPR skills for managers e-module. The course includes a variety of practical activities, discussions, and self-reflection exercises so you can reflect on your own experiences and what would improve the experience for your team.
