This course is open to anyone who works with children and families across South Gloucestershire. Designed to enhance understanding and awareness of Early Help, the course aims to ensure that families receive timely and appropriate support—preventing issues from escalating and promoting better long-term outcomes. Participants will learn how to identify families who may benefit from additional support and gain practical knowledge of the tools and resources available at the Early Help level. This includes guidance on the effective use of Early Help Assessments and Plans (EHAPs).
The training will also support professionals in developing a holistic view of a child or family’s circumstances, enabling more informed and coordinated responses. It will strengthen participants’ ability to work collaboratively and proactively to improve outcomes for children and families.
