Eligibility: This course is open to foster carers.
This course is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to ensure the safety and well-being of children in their care. We will explore the concept of safer caring and how to promote safe practices for those caring for children in their homes. The course will cover various aspects of safer caring, including risk assessment, creating a safe environment, and understanding the unique needs of foster children. Please be aware that by booking onto this course, you consent to your email address being shared with South Gloucestershire Council, so that we can send information and potentially MS Teams invitations to you. The duration of this session is likely to be four hours, with an hour break in the middle and short breaks after each hour. This will be confirmed nearer the time.
