You will need to access and complete the e-module on the Enable (Virtual College) SGC Children's Safeguarding Partnership website.
If you do not already have an account on the Enable website, then you will need to register via this link.
This mandatory safeguarding e-module provides essential knowledge and guidance to help you protect and support children and adults who may be at risk of harm. You will explore what safeguarding means, why it is important, and the responsibilities all staff have to protect people and keep them safe. The e-module will help you recognise the signs and different forms of abuse, understand factors that may increase a person’s vulnerability, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns. You will also learn how to report concerns confidently and in line with organisational procedures. There is a short quiz at the end of the e-module to help you check your understanding of the content.
To successfully complete the assessment, you'll need to achieve a score of 80%. Don’t worry if you don’t pass first time, you can retake the assessment multiple times and revisit the learning to build your confidence and understanding.
