    Eligibility: This course is designed for social workers who meet specific eligibility requirements.

    To attend this course, you must have completed Practice Educator Professional Standards One (PEPS Stage One) and have your manager's agreement to work towards achieving PEPS Stage Two. Additionally, you must have been qualified for at least two years. In this workshop, we will reflect on the four-day course and your learning experiences from PEPS Stage One. Practice Educator trainees will consolidate their feedback from PEPS Stage 1 and create a forward-looking plan for this stage. This workshop provides an opportunity to revise, review, and build upon the learning from PEPS Stage One, and to prepare for the portfolio requirements of Stage Two.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

    • A revision of the four-day training in PEPS Stage One.
    • A review of evidence to date.
    • An evaluation of your progress including feedback from others.
    • Consider our learners to date and how we adapted our Practice Educator practice.
    • Creation of a plan for PEPS Stage 2.

    Charges

    The charge for the course is £100, however you may be entitled to a reduced rate, or fully funded place depending on what organisation you work for.
