The ITD division have a range of support available for you.
ITD Induction
We have introduced a new IT Induction session which aims to highlight common tools used by all staff to identify any IT related skills gaps and to encourage people to book onto relevant training to make the most of the Microsoft products, as well as any hardware or software, that we use in the council.
Bespoke training
Rather that scheduling courses on a particular topic, the User Adoption Team will work with individuals or teams to provide bespoke training based on their needs. We will consider your role and the level of skills you need and then design something for you. Topics often include Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Forms, and SharePoint, but we can offer a wider range. Assistance with phones
We can help you set-up work supplied mobile phones and explain how you get the most out of it, or looking at setting up your own personal iPhone or Android as part of the Bring Your Own Device policy in order to access work resources on there, and save you carrying around another device.
Reasonable adjustments
If you find that your systems aren't working for you and they lack the accessibility you need to do your job, please contact us so we can see how adjustments can be made, so you can work more effectively and explore the various accessibility options available to us.
