Participants will gain a clear understanding of what constitutes exploitation and how perpetrators manipulate and abuse vulnerable young people. The session will explore key risk indicators and the vulnerabilities that increase a child’s likelihood of being targeted. Attendees will learn to interpret young people’s behaviours in the context of coercion and control, and how language can be used positively to support safeguarding efforts.
