    Eligibility: This e-module is for South Gloucestershire Council staff and external partners.

    This e-module is designed for parents, carers, and professionals who support individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Its core aim is to deepen understanding of the value of positive risk-taking and to promote approaches that foster greater independence and pathways into employment for people with SEND. Through a selection of third-party videos and resources, this module offers practical insights and real-world examples. We gratefully acknowledge the contributions of these content creators, whose work enriches the learning experience. It is important to recognise that, with the right support and encouragement to take positive risks, many individuals with SEND in the UK can lead fulfilling, independent lives. This module seeks to inspire confidence and equip learners with the tools to support that journey.
