Eligibility: This course is open to Social Care, Housing and Commissioning staff.

We recommend that over the course of the year managers identify three people from their team to attend this session and to share their learning with colleagues at the following team meeting.

Join SARI's comprehensive learning session to explore equality, inclusion, and cultural awareness, with a focus on disability. This session will encompass information sharing, engaging discussions, and invaluable insights from individuals with lived experiences. SARI will facilitate interactive conversations designed to help you reflect on your practices and develop actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes for our services and the people we support. This session presents a unique opportunity to address systemic inequalities and participate in dynamic, safe discussions.

This training will enhance your awareness and confidence in meeting the needs and challenges of disabled individuals that you support professionally. You will gain a deeper understanding of the diversity of disabilities, including hidden ones, and learn how to amplify the voices of disabled people in crucial care and life decisions.
