This practical and interactive course is designed to equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills required for medicines administration. It covers the principles of safe drug administration for tablets, capsules, liquid medications, inhalers, and external applications. You will also learn to recognise some of the possible complications and risks associated with administering medication, as well as methods for avoiding, rectifying, and reporting them.
Participants will be made and kept informed about the general medication audit trail, making sure that medicines are recorded both when received and when returned to a pharmacy.
