    Eligibility: This e-module is for South Gloucestershire Council staff only. 

    This short e-module will help you develop your practice by understanding the purpose of Advocacy for the people you support and the Advocacy role. You will learn to identify the type of Advocacy required for each situation and gain knowledge about the VoiceAbility service, our commissioned provider of Advocacy services at South Gloucestershire Council, and how to refer. The course will also encourage you to reflect on complex scenarios and consider how both services can work better together towards positive outcomes for the people we support. The course includes resources that can be used within group settings or for self-study. Please have something ready to take notes with.
