
Equality, diversity, and inclusion are top priorities for our council, and we offer a range of courses to ensure that staff and managers are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge to support these values. This e-module is designed to complement, not replace, the mandatory EDI training available to staff. While it revisits some of the topics covered in the mandatory training, its primary focus is on identifying unacceptable behaviour in the workplace, understanding why it must be challenged, and learning how to address it effectively.
Participants will gain insights into recognising inappropriate conduct, the importance of confronting such behaviour, and the responsibilities of South Gloucestershire Council employees to escalate issues when necessary. The course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is also available as a one-hour live webinar and in-person session. This flexible format ensures that you can choose the learning method that best suits your needs, helping you to foster a more inclusive and respectful workplace.
