Reflect on your day so far: perhaps you were awakened by your smartphone alarm, or you asked Alexa or Google to play your favourite radio station or provide the latest news and weather updates. Maybe you checked your step count on your smartwatch, monitored your room temperature and energy usage via your smart metre, or glanced at Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Snapchat, or TikTok during your lunch break. You might have shared photos and videos, sent screenshots and GIFs, written on friends' timelines, or posted virtual birthday cards.

    Technology is integral to our lives, shaping how we live and interact. This course aims to increase your tech awareness and illustrate the transformative impact of technology.
