Eligibility: This e-module is for South Gloucestershire Council staff only.

South Gloucestershire Council declared a Climate Emergency in July 2019. This is a sixty-minute introduction to the subject and what all staff and councillors can do to respond to it. This training will provide information on:

    • The speed and scale of climate breakdown and what we will do about it.
    • The nature crisis and how we can promote local nature recovery.
    • Local climate change impacts in South Gloucestershire and how we can adapt.

Please contact the team climate.emergency@southglos.gov.uk with any ideas, questions or comments about how to apply this training. If you would like the podcast version, please get in touch. Please note that BBC iPlayer has a 55-minute documentary called ‘Climate change-the facts’ for staff or councillors who would like to access information about this subject in a different format.
