    Eligibility: This course is open to everyone from any organisation working with children and families in South Gloucestershire.

    This three-hour session is for individuals who will not be directly using the Signs of Safety approach with families but will encounter it in practice and need a fundamental understanding of its principles. The workshop aims to provide a clear and concise overview of the Signs of Safety methodology, ensuring participants can recognise and appreciate its application in a professional setting.

    Learning outcomes

    As a result of this course, you will have knowledge and skills in the following areas:

    • What the Signs of Safety Model is.
    • The Signs of Safety Practice Principles and how Children’s Services apply these principles in their work with families.
    • The Signs of Safety Assessment and Planning Framework.
    • Various Signs of Safety tools.
