As a new employee of the council, it’s essential to understand how the council operates, how your role contributes to the overall council plan, how decisions are made, what is expected of you, and what you can expect from us. This induction is also a great opportunity to meet other new starters. This half-day session complements the mandatory e-modules you are required to complete as part of your induction, with your manager providing support throughout the process.
Social Care staff must also book the afternoon Social Care Learning and Development welcome session, where you will learn more about the learning and development opportunities and career progression available to you.
Existing members of staff who have not previously attended a council induction are welcome to attend.
