This two-and-a-half-hour face-to-face workshop is designed for newly qualified social workers. It features engaging group discussions and activities, focusing on understanding our own personalities and those of others to see how these impact our interactions. During the session, participants will watch videos of talking mats and other communication tools, and have the opportunity to try them out together. Join us to enhance your communication skills, deepen your self-awareness, and improve your effectiveness in social work practice.
This course aligns with the following Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS), as detailed in your AYSE Handbook: PCF 7 and 5, and KSS 5 and 6.
