    Eligibility: This course is open to professionals using the Signs of Safety approach.

    This comprehensive two-day training is designed for professionals who will be using the Signs of Safety approach in their work with children, young people, and their families or carers. It is also relevant for those who supervise others using this approach. Delivered by our experienced internal Signs of Safety team, this course equips practitioners and managers with skills and knowledge to effectively implement the Signs of Safety methodology in their practice.

    The course aims to provide a thorough understanding of the theory and principles behind the Signs of Safety approach, develop practical skills for using the approach in real-world scenarios, enhance participants' ability to facilitate meaningful conversations and create collaborative safety and wellbeing plans, and support supervisors in guiding and mentoring their teams in the use of Signs of Safety. By the end of the course, you will be well-prepared to integrate Signs of Safety into your practice, ensuring better outcomes for the children and families you support.

    • Understand the Signs of Safety tools for direct work with children.
