    Eligibility: This course is open to anyone working with children.

    Join us for a practice-rich day focused on planning interventions for challenging cases. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore 'live' cases with Richard Rose, who will provide expert guidance and practical tasks. The programme includes comprehensive theory, child development insights, assessment approaches, and in-depth case discussions.

    This workshop is designed for practitioners working with children and young people in community services. Richard Rose, Director of Child Trauma Intervention Services Ltd (CTIS), will lead the course. With extensive experience in child protection and therapeutic work, including Life Story Therapy, Richard has authored several books and develops training programmes internationally, aiming to help children achieve their full potential.

    Learning outcomes

    • Master techniques for reaching hard-to-reach children.
    • Enhance your listening and interpretive skills.
    • Understand the significance of feelings and "magic feelings".
    • Develop techniques for effective communication and recording.

    • Address issues of confidentiality.
    • Tackle sensitive issues and provide appropriate resources and tools.
