    Eligibility: This course is open to social workers on the ASYE programme only.

    This course is designed to deepen your understanding of assertiveness and its appropriate application in the workplace. It aims to boost your confidence in your practice and your role as a social worker. By exploring different types of assertiveness, you will learn how to effectively communicate and advocate for yourself and others in various professional scenarios. The training is designed to meet the standards set out in the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) and is relevant to your professional development.

    Please complete the Assertiveness e-module ahead of the training day to maximise your learning experience. This preparatory work will provide a solid foundation for the interactive and practical elements of the course

    This course aligns with the following Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS), as detailed in your AYSE Handbook: PCF 1.4, PCF 1.6, PCF 2.2, PCF 7.1, PCF 7.3, and PCF 8.6.
