    Eligibility: This e-module is for South Gloucestershire Council staff only.

    This 40-minute interactive recorded workshop, produced by the Public Health, Mental Health, Inequalities, and Community Engagement team, is an invaluable resource for all staff, external partners, and foster carers. It provides an introduction to trauma awareness, covering key topics such as understanding trauma, including Adverse Childhood Experiences, recognising the connections between trauma and behaviour, responding with compassion, and resourcing ourselves to better support those affected by trauma.

    You will gain essential insights into the impact of trauma and learn practical strategies for addressing it in a compassionate and effective manner. The recorded workshop is designed to be engaging and informative, equipping you with the knowledge and tools needed to support individuals who have experienced trauma. In addition to the workshop content, you will have access to a range of supplementary resources, including web pages and videos, to further enhance your understanding and application of trauma-informed practices.
